Canadian singer who came to worldwide prominence with his 2005 Album, It’s Time, enjoying even more commercial success with his 2007 Album, Call Me Irresponsible. He has won awards including three Grammy Awards.
Born in Burnaby, British Columbia, he apparently dreamed of becoming a singer at just two years old … Being Canadian he has a passion for ice hockey, which he still shares with his grandfather. From 14yrs old he spent six summers working as a fisherman with his father, and by 16yrs was singing in nightclubs, winning a talent competition at 18yrs which gave him opportunities for TV work. However, it wasn’t until 2000 when singing at a Wedding that he was introduced to David Foster, a multi-Grammy Award winning producer who had worked with Michael Jackson, Céline Dion, Barbara Streisand and Andrea Bocelli. He agreed to produce Buble’s debut Album, Michael Buble which was released in February 2003 and in the same year he appeared in a couple of movies. Whilst he enjoyed considerable attention, it wasn’t until his second and third Albums that his career really took off.
